I have an update on the felony charges against Bandera County GOP officers. Yesterday, Conrad "Butch" Striegl, GOP County Chairman and Rene Leith, Treasurer, pled No Contest to charges of Fraudulent Submission of a Document. Under a plea agreement of Pretrial Intervention, both officers will step down from their positions. Each will pay a fines and court fees. Striegl and Leith are now on probation. Should no violations occur during the probation period, a case dismissal is December 1st.
