Bandera - flock camera confusion

Confusion reigns over the installment of Flock Cameras in Bandera. According to the Bandera Bulletin, a grant is funding the cameras and the grant is the contract says City Attorney Matt Groves in response to Mayor Pro-tem Deanna McCabe’s question of an approved contract. McCabe made a motion to deactivate and remove the license plate reader cameras. If that were to happen, the city would still be on the hook for the cost of the cameras. A prior City Council approved the system unanimously and received training to secure the grant.
