Bluewood Apartment Complex - Kerrville

The Bluewood Apartment Complex, a 55 million dollar development could start construction in Kerrville as early as October. The property for the complex is at the corner of Callioux Boulevard and Holdsworth Drive. Daniel Wheeler with J Street Property Services went before City Council on Tuesday to ask for permit and fee waivers of 486 thousand dollars and a  589 thousand dollar tax abatement.  Council adopted a resolution with a 520 thousand dollar cap on tax abatements and a 480 thousand dollar cap on permit waivers.  Kerr County Commissioners on Monday accepted 800 thousand dollars in financial incentives.
