Boerne Elementary #8 is now Viola 'Olie' Wilson Elementary

Boerne’s Elementary #8 will now be known as Viola ‘Olie’ Wilson Elementary. The name was approved by the Boerne ISD board. Wilson was a teacher for 40 years from 1930 to 1970. The school is scheduled to open next school year in 2024. The principal, mascot and staff are also to be unveiled next year.
