Boerne Fire Department deploys 3 to the Panhandle

Boerne Fire Department deploys 3 of their firefighters to Stinett Texas reports the Boerne Star. According to Fire Chief Manuel Casarez, Boerne Fire Department has been building a Wildland Fire Fighting Team. The 3 have met the Texas Intrastate Mutual Aid System Standards. The firefighters are Assistant Fire Chief Walter Ball, Cal Wallace and Mark Cross. They may be in the Panhandle up to 3 weeks.
