Abrupt closure of a Learning Academy in Boerne leaves parents scrambling for new childcare. According to the Boerne Star. The owner of Thrive Learning Academy, Jeff Stokes closed the childcare center citing staffing issues. Director Staci Jackson Baros was surprised by the closure. Baros discounted the claim of staffing issues although she had notified Thrive that she was leaving in May. The Academy on Sisterdale Road is also for sale.
