Boerne - principal arrested

Boerne Middle School North principal put on administrative leave after DWI arrest according to the Boerne Star. Daniel Owen, 48, was arrested June 5th not only for a driving while intoxicated but also on a weapons charge. Owen is on administrative leave with pay as the school district investigates. Also, his school contract had expired a few hours before his arrest as central staff are on 226 day contracts. Owen has been principal since the 2019 school year.
