Boerne - Proposed FY 2026 budget

Boerne’s proposed budget will fund significant capital improvement priorities without raising the tax rate. The proposed budget is $181 million. Although this is an increase of $43 million from the Fiscal Year 2025 budget, the tax rate for the proposed FY 2026 budget remains the same as the previous budget at $0.4716 per $100 valuation. The cost of housing rose by about 25 thousand dollars which raises the tax bill per home.  A public hearing is scheduled for next Tuesday, Sept. 9^th, 6 p.m. at Boerne City Hall, on North Main Street.
