Boerne - Residents continue to object to Buc-ees

Boerne residents and neighborhoods continue to object to the Buc-ees project according to the Boerne Star. City Council last Tuesday heard from several residents about the convenience store even though the subject of Buc-ees wasn’t on the agenda. Citizens took their 3 minutes to give their objections which included increased traffic congestion, elevated noise levels, round the clock lighting and an impact on property values. Next Monday, Buc-ees will ask the Planning and Zoning Commission to rezone a 4 acre lot for more parking. The meeting is expected to be packed with nay-sayers.
