Boerne - Tax Aid at the Patrick Heath Library

Boerne’s Patrick Heath Library partners with the AARP Tax Aide Foundation to provide free tax preparation to anyone who pays federal income tax. There are no income or age restrictions. Tax returns prepared by appointment. The services take place each Monday through Wednesday during the months of February, March, and most of April until April 15.  There’s a Spanish speaker on the tax team every Monday. The tax volunteers can assist with tax questions and complete the most commonly used tax forms. Taxpayers must bring a copy of the previous year’s tax return, photo ID, and Social Security card for each person on the return. Volunteers preparing tax returns are not IRS employees, but are trained and certified by the IRS. Contact the library for information.
