Burnet Co - Bell County - East Big Hill Transmission lines

Burnet County citizens are in an uproar about transmission lines criss-crossing their properties. The new transmission line would have 15 story towers built on property in portions of over 14 counties including Burnet, Llano, Mason, Menard, and more. This project is named the Bell County - East Big Hill. LCRA and Oncor Electric Delivery are jointly proposing to build and operate the ERCOT recommended 765-kilovolt transmission line in response to unprecedented load growth in the Permian Basin region. Another 765 KV transmission project called the Howard Solstice would cut through 14 counties also including Bandera and Medina.
