Camp Mystic criminal investigation

Camp Mystic accused of manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, injury to a child and other offenses. According to the New York Times, The Texas Rangers executed search warrants against Camp Mystic, LLC as they continue a criminal investigation due to the deaths of 27 campers during last year’s floods.  Camp owner Dick Eastland also perished.  14 warrants approved by a state judge allowed Texas state police investigators to search electronic data belonging to members of the Eastland family, counselors and employees. “These warrants show that decisions made by camp leadership before and during the flood may have been criminal,” they said in a statement. The warrants were filed in Kerr County on Friday. There have been no formal charges filed.
