Camp Mystic - Eastland family want hearing on electronic data collection

Eastland family requests information on who has seen their electronic data collected by the Texas Rangers. The Rangers requested access from Apple, Inc. to electronic data from the Eastlands, owners of Camp Mystic LLC and the Camp Mystic staff, including browser history, call logs, emails, GPS, and photos. Eastland family members filed motions in Kerr County District Court for a hearing on multiple issues, calling the search warrants a “fishing expedition.” A hearing on the motion was set for today in Kerr County. District Attorney Lucy Wilke asked for a continuance as she is out of town. Texas Ranger Brant Johnston is seeking criminal charges.
