Canyon Lake reaches lowest point

Canyon Lake finally reached its lowest water levels ever. The record was broken yesterday at 892.69. The last lowest record was in 2009. Comal and Blanco counties gets 65 percent of their water from Canyon Lake via Texas Water Company. And to break it down even further a TWC rep says about 70 percent of that water goes to landscape irrigation. Both Comal and Blanco counties are under Stage 3 Water Restrictions.
