Chronic Wasting Disease campaign

Texas Parks and Wildlife is launching a billboard campaign addressing Chronic Wasting Disease in the deer population. CWD is highly transmissible and fatal. The campaign is to educate hunters and the public to help protect wild and captive deer. TPWD warns that if the disease is not contained, it would greatly impact the multi-billion dollar hunting, ranching and real estate economies in Texas.
