Church’s Chicken returns to the recipe from 1952 that started it all according to the company. Also, the company is now known as Church’s Texas Chicken in the states and Texas Chicken outside of the US. Church’s says the 1952 recipe is simpler to execute. Only one Batter and one Breader is needed.  The company claims what makes the original 1952 recipe special is that each piece is deeply marinated and juicy, hand battered, double breaded, and flavorful to the bone.
