City of Ingram sues Ingram VFD

The City of Ingram is in a lawsuit with the Ingram Volunteer Fire Department over the Event Center. Reports the West Kerr Current. There’s a hearing on a temporary injunction Friday, May 3rd in Fredericksburg. The event center is on the VFD’s property. The City was to have an eclipse event in April but the VFD handed a notice of termination for the agreement they had with the city in January. The city’s lawsuit includes compensatory damages for losses and damages for breach of contract.
