City of Kerrville resumes regular business hours TUE 01.27.26

The City of Kerrville will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at all city-operated facilities, with the exception of the Scott Schreiner Municipal Golf Course, which will remain closed.

 

An Arctic front continues to bring overnight temperatures in the teens and low 20s; however, conditions are expected to improve significantly throughout the day Tuesday.

 

While city operations will reopen, most area school districts across Kerr County will remain closed due to broader roadway conditions. Hunt ISD has reported a delayed start.

Trash and Recycling ServicesRepublic Services, the City of Kerrville’s residential trash and recycling provider, has implemented a one-day service delay:

 

All trash and recycling collections will occur one day later than the regular schedule

Residents should place bins out one day later than their normal collection day

 

The adjusted schedule will remain in effect through Saturday, Jan. 31.

 

Utility Billing Due Date ExtensionsTo accommodate weather-related disruptions:

 

Bills due Monday, Jan. 26, are extended to Wednesday, Jan. 28

Bills due Tuesday, Jan. 27, are extended to Thursday, Jan. 29

 

No late fees or penalties will be assessed during this extension period.

 

Warming Station at Calvary Temple Church to Close Tuesday at NoonThe public Warming Station at Calvary Temple Church will remain open through Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 12:00 p.m.
