This morning at 8am the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association will escort Kerrville’s flags from the Heart of the Hills VFW on Thompson. The flags will be set at the Hill Country Youth Event Center on highway 27. It’s for the Gunny’s Warriors Kerrville Field of Honor event Saturday through Monday. There’s opening and closing ceremonies, food trucks, music, family activities, and more. 500 flags will fly in honor of heroes. All proceeds from this event will benefit various local non-profit organizations.
