Comfort man - jailed - Giovanni Kitts

Comfort man convicted for sexual assault by a Kendall County jury last week. Giovani Kitts, (24), was sentenced to five years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Center. The incident occurred in March of 2022, when Kendall County Deputy Sergeant Jonathan Granado responded to a call regarding a sexual assault at the Guadalupe Crossing Apartments in Comfort. The victim, stated that her boyfriend had invited several friends, including Kitts, over to their apartment for a social gathering. The victim said she went to bed around and was later assaulted by Kitts. The victim’s boyfriend caught him leaving the bedroom. Forensic DNA analysis confirmed that Kitts’ DNA was found on the victim corroborating her statement.
