Drug busts in Bandera County

2 large drug busts in Bandera County recently. The Sheriff’s Office is striking hard against the criminal drug element according to the new Sheriff, Josh Teitge. In the last few weeks, the Criminal Interdiction Unit Deputies made felony arrests for Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance. One bust was a vehicle search executed at a traffic stop near Wharton’s Dock Road. Found were 400 grams of controlled substances, an illegal firearm, and cash directly related to the delivery and sale of illegal narcotics. At the second bust, CIU investigators, in cooperation with Criminal Investigation and Patrol Divisions, conducted an interdiction stop on HWY 16 in Pipe Creek. Deputies seized 652 grams or about 1 and a half pounds of Methamphetamine being delivered for sale in and around the City of Bandera.
