The Fredericksburg High School Band was removed from Friday’s Gillespie County Parade. Parents and citizens are upset. Fredericksburg PD issued a statement that due to safety measures the band was removed from the parade line-up. Large gaps twice were created in the parade line-up by the band falling behind. The band director was advised by FPD to close the gap. Then it happened again, so the band was pulled out. There are required distances that are expected to be maintained between participants.
