FBG - NPSOT Lindemann Scholarship recipient

Calvin Nering of the University of North Texas receives the Bill Lindemann Scholarship from the Native Plant Society of Fredericksburg. Nering is studying for a Bachelors of Science in Ecology in Enviromental Science. President Jonathan Watt of the Native Plant Society – Fredericksburg Chapter said that Nering’s work on ecological restoration of Texas ecosystems and his commitment to continue advocating for native plants where he lives,” impressed the chapter’s board. The “Bill Lindemann Scholarship” was established in 2021 to promote the study and conservation of native plants of the Texas ecosystem.
