Several Fredericksburg citizens reported that someone is calling claiming to be a police officer and asking for money. The scammer is identifying themselves as Lieutenant Paul Dooley and asking for fees and threatening with an arrest warrant in your name. FPD says there isn’t a Lieutenant Dooley and do not give your financial information to them. Call the police department to make a report if you are contacted by Dooley.
