FEMA deadline extended to Sept 28

FEMA’s deadline for the Individual Assistance registration period for Texas flood victims is now extended. Governor Greg Abbott announced that at his request, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has extended the Individual Assistance registration period from Thursday, September 4th to Sunday, September 28th to individuals who live in qualifying counties. The counties are Burnet, Guadalupe, Kerr, Kimble, McCulloch, Menard, San Saba, Tom Green, Travis, and Williamson. In Kerr county, there are 2 Disaster Recovery Centers who can offer help in registering for FEMA funds. One is at the Hill Country Youth Event Center on Texas 27 and the other at LJ Vineyards on Texas 39 in Hunt.
