Fredericksburg - City Council amends city code language

Fredericksburg City Council spent their meeting amending city codes for businesses not clearly defined. City staff added sexually oriented businesses, vape shops, game of skill parlors and tattoo studios to the C2 commercial zoning ordinance. According to Standard Radio Post, Planning and Zoning brought up the issue many times, because these businesses were not specifically defined in the current zoning ordinances. They also didn’t have to file for a conditional use permit, now they do. Current businesses are grandfathered in.
