Gillespie Co - Crabapple Fire Relief Fund

The Crabapple Fire Relief Fund continues to take donations until Sunday according to the Standard Radio Post. Afterwards, the donations will be fully dispersed.   The Advisory Committee of the Crabapple Fire Relief Fund, housed at the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country gave six 10 thousand dollar grants to Fredericksburg, Harper, Willow City, Doss, Tierra Linda and Stonewall volunteer fire departments.  These volunteer fire departments helped extinguish the Crabapple Fire which burned nearly 10,000 acres in March. Over 145 thousand dollars has been donated.
