Gillespie Co Deputy arrested

Gillespie County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested for having an inappropriate consensual sexual relationship with a female while on Duty. The woman originally alleged rape. In August, the Gillespie County Sherriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division received an allegation that one of the GCSO deputies was having the alleged relationship. The GCSO contacted the Texas Rangers to conduct the investigation. Based on the evidence there was enough probable cause to obtain three warrants. The deputy was terminated from the Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office and then arrested by Texas Rangers. The former Deputy Edward Holloway III was booked into the Gillespie County Jail for the following offenses.
