Driver in Gillespie County busted for Meth. On Thursday, a sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle for a lapsed registration. The driver also didn’t have insurance nor a driver’s license. The deputy became suspicious and asked the driver for permission to search the car which the driver granted. Upon searching the vehicle, 6 and a half grams of methamphetamine were found. The driver 35 years old and from Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
