Gillespie Co - Early Voting

Early voting in Gillespie Co runs through Friday, February 27th for the March 3^rd primary. Early votes in Gillespie County to be counted by the Gillespie County Election Department’s automatic scanning equipment.   A full hand count audit of all contested races in early voting will then take place afterward. According to Bruce Campbell, Gillespie County Republican Party chair said “The change was due to a concern about the number of people who had signed up to count early votes not being sufficient," Election Day votes to be hand counted at each precinct as previously planned.
