Gillespie County - Judge assigned for Jones lawsuit

2 Gillespie County residents call for the removal of County Judge Daniel Jones. Bruce Neitzke (knight-ski) and Esther Schneider filed for a petition for removal last Wednesday. The filing is asking to remove the judge for incompetency and official misconduct. A judge has been assigned to preside in the suit for the removal of Jones as Neitzke and Schneider are asking for a trial by jury. The assigned presiding judge is the Honorable Kirsten B Cohoon Senior District Judge of the 451st Judicial District Court and the Presiding Judge of the 6th Administrative Judicial Region of Texas to the 216th Judicial District Court of Gillespie Texas.
