Harper - Peregrine Counter-suit

Short victory regarding the Peregrine Battery Energy Storage System planned for Harper. .  In January, the company signed an Agreed Temporary Injunction with the four Harper plaintiffs who filed a lawsuit against them and intervenor Gillespie County. Rogers Draw Energy Storage LLC, a defendant in the Harper BESS litigation, has now filed a countersuit against Gillespie County, an intervenor in a lawsuit brought by Harper Residents.  Rogers is saying that Gillespie doesn’t allege they are violating code but may violate codes and regulations in the future. The company also said that the stop work orders are null and void. At this time all activities are currently halted on the Harper BESS site (stock photo)
