Hill Country jails taking Bexar Co inmates

County jails in the hill country are taking in inmates from Bexar County reports expressnews.com. Kerr County and Burnet County are housing up to 150 Bexar County inmates as Bexar’s jail reaches 99 percent capacity. Kerr County agreed to house each inmate for 65 dollars a day. Burnet County for 80 dollars. These are convicted inmates awaiting transport to state prisons. The delay in inmate transport to the state prison is their own  capacity and staffing issues.
