Hill Country - VFD's battle brush fire

Hill Country Volunteer Fire Departments battled a large, fast moving grass/brush fire along Interstate 10 at mile marker 484 Wednesday afternoon. Mountain Home VFD put the call out and received assistance from Divide, Ingram, Center Point and Tierra Linda Ranch. Crews from all VFD’s worked together into the late night hours under the Command of the Mountain Home VFD Chief. No structures were burned. No injuries reported. Prior to this fire, Mountain Home had already responded to another fire at mile marker 480 with Junction and Kimble VFD’s assisting.
