HOT may help boost Comfort economy

Economic relief could come to Comfort with a proposed plan to impose hotel occupancy taxes. According to the San Antonio Business Journal. Kendall County leaders submitted the plan to County Commissioners yesterday. If approved, the region could see a boost of 800 thousand dollars in new revenue annually. The proposal would affect only lodging entities in the unincorporated areas of the county including Comfort.
