Johnson City - Klett Ranch fire

On Tuesday, at 2pm Johnson City residents reported smoke from areas about 4 miles west of Johnson City, along Klett Ranch Road according to Mayor Stephanie Fisher. After investigation, firefighters and law enforcement located the fire. Assets from the Texas Forrest Service, Blanco, and Burnet Counties were called in. At approximately 4:30 pm, incident command received word that forward movement of the fire had stopped. Assets are remained on scene to control the fire further, but no direct threat to property existed.
