Feliz Navidad, a song penned by Puerto Riqueno Jose Feliciano was written due to his homesickness. He wrote it in LA missing Christmas in New York City with his family in 1970. Although, I remember hearing it in the 70’s, the song didn’t hit any Billboard charts until 25 years later.
