Kendall Co - 4 convicted for Money Laundering

4 convicted in Kendall County last week for a crime linked to a California ATM theft according to the Kendall County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. A DPS trooper stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation last February in Kendall County and found 80 thousand dollars in a backpack tied to a robbery of a Wells Fargo ATM in Huntington Beach. The initial theft was 240 thousand dollars. The vehicle occupants were on their way to Houston.  Charges included Money Laundering and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, Theft of Property and Marijuana Possession.  Agencies involved besides Kendall County were Houston PD, Huntington Beach PD, and DPS.
