Kendall County pursues grants for flood warning system

At their recent meeting, Kendall County Commissioners reviewed grant opportunities for repairs related to damage caused by the July 4^th floods. Within the grant approvals is an allotment of $1 million, which could be used for the installation of outdoor warning sirens and flood-related products. The grant agreement is with the Texas Water Development Board. The county is working to identify the placement of flood detection equipment.
