Kendall County Commissioners don’t see eye to eye with the Sheriff on disbursement of a grant. Kendall County Law enforcement is expecting a large grant of 350 thousand dollars in March. The money stems from Senate Bill 22 assisting rural law enforcement with funding and financial support. Sheriff Al Auxier wants to disperse the money to senior members of his staff while county commissioners want an even split amongst staff. Almost half of the staff wouldn’t receive any of the money including Auxier if his proposal is agreed upon. The commissioners and the sheriff have agreed to hold a workshop to further discuss the disbursement. Reports the Boerne Star.
