Kendall Co - SA man sentenced for vehicle theft

San Antonio man sentenced to four years in prison for vehicle theft in Boerne. Jose Israel Barrera Jr., 36, accepted a plea agreement on two counts of Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. Barrera was also ordered to pay a total of $32,577 in restitution to Mark Motors and Jaguar of Boerne. The value of the cars combined was 200 thousand dollars. The case stems from an investigation that began September 27, 2024.
