Kerr Co - consider purchasing former KPD building

Former Kerrville PD Headquarters could soon house Kerr County offices. The space is 15 thousand, 600 square feet for 1,875,000 dollars. On Monday, Kerr County Commissioners approved a letter of intent to consider purchasing the city owned property located at Sidney Baker and North Street. The July 16 floods left the county short on space as the basement flooded. Kerr County Judge Rob Kelly said the purchase could capitalize on property in the heart of Kerrville and keep the county government more centralized.
