Kerr County - 8th case of rabies

Rabid bat found in Ingram. This is Kerr County’s 8th case this year.

A report of a bat located under a vehicle at the 200 block of TX39 in Ingram was investigated by Kerr County Animal Control last Wednesday. An animal control officer collected the specimen the same day, preserved it for the zoological lab. The results were positive for rabies. No human exposure was recorded with this incident.
