Kerrville - Cortez family funeral

The Cortez Family of Kerrville funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 10am, the 14th. Grimes Funeral Services are handling the arrangements.  Services to be conducted at Calvary Temple Church.  Officiating are Pastor Del Way and Dr. Joe Taylor. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. A call out from Combat Vets has been made on social media for motorcycle riders to accompany the procession. Daniel Jr, Cody and Courtney Cortez were killed Saturday, May 3rd in Center Point while riding their motorcycles home to Kerrville. An intoxicated driver crossed into their lane in a head-on collision. Joan Cortez, a passenger on one of the motorcycles was airlifted to a hospital in San Antonio.
