Kerrville - Miss USA in town

The reigning Miss USA - Alma Cooper visited with Kerrville youth yesterday, May 7th, according to the West Kerr Current. Cooper serving in the US Army was invited by KISD Superintendent Brent Ringo as both are West Point graduates. Cooper gave a motivational speech to over 500 elementary students from Kerrville and Ingram ISD’s at the Hill Country Youth Event Center. Mayor Joe Herring issued a proclamation marking her visit to the community.
