Kerrville - possible cancellation of May General Election

May 3rd election in Kerrville possibly being cancelled. The Kerrville City Council will adopt a resolution on Tuesday to cancel the election. There were no applications filed to oppose the incumbents of Place 1 City Council member Delayne Sigerman and Place 2 City Council member Jeff Harris. If approved, the City Secretary will post an order of cancellation on Wednesday and submit it to Kerr County for publication.  This is the first time since 1955 when the city began keeping records that a Municipal General Election has been cancelled.
