Kerrville - Slick streets

The latest from our KPD officers on the street: A dusting of snow and sleet is beginning to accumulate, moving in from the west. Visibility out west is a little over a quarter of a mile. Currently, we haven’t seen icy conditions in town but we are monitoring and we continue to ask folks to avoid unnecessary travel, as we expect conditions to get worse in town throughout the day. Based on the forecasts we’ve seen, we expect temperature to stay below freezing for the next 48 hours. Our friends at Kerr County Sheriff's Office are reporting Highway 39 and IH 10 are getting slick, and Kerrville Fire Department medics ran into some slick spots out in Tierra Linda. If you must drive, use extreme caution. #hillcountrywinterstorm #hillcountryfreeze #ranchradiommarketinggroup
