Kerrville - surplus funds for flood recovery

Budget amendment approved from higher-than-expected tax revenue. all goes toward flood repair projects, as planned with the disaster rate tax according to the Kerrville City Council. Finance Director Julie Behrens said the revenue increase amounts to $600,000 over the current budget amount that will go toward flood recovery. City Council also approved hiring an interim city attorney, William Tatsch to start February 2nd.
