Kerrville Tivy students staged a walk-out protesting ICE. The School District posted that they were aware of the small student-led protect. Respecting students’ rights to express their individual viewpoints, the district’s priorities remain student safety and maintaining a positive, uninterrupted learning environment for all. The students who left the school were counted absent in accordance with district attendance guidelines. Tivy Faculty & Staff did not take part or condone the walkout. (photo: John Wells - KDT)
