Kerrville - tree preservation ordinance

Today, the Kerrville City Council agenda includes a tree preservation ordinance. The preservation ordinance will limit the removal of certain sizes and varieties of trees within the Kerrville city limits.  There are trees in the community that may fit into that protected category that are struggling, diseased or dying. The proposed tree preservation ordinance will help protect beautiful old trees while also allowing land owners to remove trees when necessary due to disease and damage.
